Bonny,
Please keep me in the loop of any information or opportunities concerning Work Based Learning and high school students entering post secondary activities. Please keep me posted if you can about this event. This looks like an excellent communication between home and school for our students.
Thanks,
Jay
Also, any imformation about the following:
BUSINESS COMMUNITY EVENT:
Educators in the Workplace
Lunch and Learn
Again this summer, Innovation Valley, the Knoxville
Chamber and others will offer teachers and counselors
an opportunity to meet with business professionals in the
workplace - offering insight and a possible connections
between what students learn in the classroom and what
is required in the workplace.
More details will follow ... but the company visits will
take place this year between June 9 and July 16.

This is a much needed element not only in schools but in every aspect of a family's life. It's exciting to see Fathers stepping up to the plate and being present, answering the call to show young boys what fatherhood is really about. Hats off to Eric Rice and all the men who are following their God-given call to "be the man!"

It has been shown that students learn better with a smaller student to teacher ratio in the classroom. What specific steps will you take as governor to work towards reduce class size to a more reasonable size. What in your opinion is a reasonable class size?

Congratulations to Dr. Ferguson and the other inductees.
Positive mention of the Flint Hills always gets my attention! Thanks!
So happy it brought me to your site. Hope others of your readers are able to visit the Flint Hills of Kansas, as well. We think you will find it distinctive and a pleasant change of pace for the rigors of everyday life, for most of us.

Our 22 county Flint Hills Tourism Coalition, Inc. promotes visits to the Kansas Flint Hills – the website is: http://www.kansasflinthills.travel/

Best wishes!
Dr. Bill ;-)
